so it goes

'woke up today and worked on the blog, but finalized it more/less. After that I felt like i NEEDED to get out of my room, and so—afer a positive Skype with the pops about future plans, philosophy, and life choices—I decided to go for a walk, breathe in the fresh air. I Ziploc'd a decent amount of various veggies (cucumbers, carrots, red/green peppers, broccoli, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes...) and then headed out. The walk felt GREAT; 'just let any and all anxieties go, and walked (paying slight attention to my posture and how I walk [feet alignment]). You know, a variation on walking meditation. 'walked around campus and then out around town in search of a decent milkshake place (Häagen-Dazs for 7euros!?) and to peruse this arthouse video rental place I've recently been going to. The video store has a chill, explorative atmosphere, a GREAT selection of movies, and none of the videos are ordered alphabetically (suggesting the customer open his/her mind to new possibilities and browse). The last few times I came in I had certain titles in mind, and so looked fervently for the ones I desired. This time I didn't even rent anything; I just perused various sections and asked for suggestions, jotting down names of ones that caught my eye (via title, cover, then plot). I felt like I was part of a community; just living the good life and checking out new possibilities at a casual pace. No rushing.

'Saw Kill Bill Vol. 2 tonight, and i thought it was great. Definitely better than first imho.

AND...in the spirit of living in the real world,
pleasant dreams.

P.S. no longer "polishing" my posts; 'too much time for such little reward.
